So Bad They Were Good!

In 2008, moviegoers brought their blankets (this isn’t LA!) and chairs to the Phinney Neighborhood Center parking lot, 6532 Phinney Ave N, on two successive Fridays evenings to enjoy "The Corpse Vanishes" and "The Lady Vanishes."

The Gumshoe Committee, with the advice of schlock cinema guru Professor Fred Hopkins, has yet to decide what "bad" movies to show in August of 2009. If you have a movie you'd like the committee and Professor Fred to consider, send the title to the Gumshoe Answer Man.

There's no guarantee your movie will be shown and, depending on how bad it is, there's a slight risk Homeland Security will intercept your message to the Gumshoe Answer Man and put you on its watch list, but what the heck ... just do it!

What's So Mysterious ...

At the second Bad But Free Outdoor Mystery Movie, moviegoers screen a selection of "video answers" to the contest question "What's so mysterious about Phinney/Greenwood?" and determine the best contest entry with their applause. The winning producer receives the coveted $149.95 Cecil B. deRedMill Cash Award! Learn more.
